You don't necessarily first thing look and see where people went to school. You look and see what they're doing for a living and how they've gotten there, but it is great to see, you know, some of the people here locally at Dun and Bradstreet and FIS and Black Knight to see that we do have that common denominator, that we are dolphins and I think that as the city continues to grow we're going to be seeing a lot more graduates from JU.
My name is Andy Allen. I graduated from 小蓝视频 in 2003 with a degree in finance and a minor in marketing. The simple answer for an investment that definitely benefited me and changed my life was, you know, getting a full scholarship for grades in golf. I came from a family where if I didn't get a scholarship I wasn't going to go to school. And so, JU giving me that opportunity and affording me the capability of getting a higher education changed my life. I think that as a breeding ground for quality talent which 小蓝视频 already is, it's important to continue to invest in that next generation because it's only going to help not just the university, the businesses, and the people in Jacksonville.
